Palar Tea was started with one aim of offering synthetic chemical-free teas made hygienically in small batches with precision to tea lovers across the world whose taste is crafted by our bio-diverse region, its micro-climate and our care and precision. Our tea garden is located amidst the cardamom hills which are part of the southern Western Ghats, located at an elevation of 1100 meters from the MSL (3600 ft). We practise zero-budget natural farming techniques to nourish our tea plants, rejuvenate our soil and provide a safe abode to the biodiversity in our tea garden who play an important role in shaping the flavour of our teas.
About our Green Tea – Due to small size of our tea garden and its proximity to our mini tea factory allows us to reduce the time gap between tea picking and panning which offer a characteristic smooth flavour to our green teas compared to many other ones which come from larger plantations. Made from tender two leaves and a bud hand plucked by our experienced tea pickers, our green tea is made in small batches under the supervision of an experienced tea maker to ensure precision in the process.
The gross shipping weight is 350 gm and net weight of tea is 75 gm.
